Branded Delivery Packaging: Turning a Paper Bag Into a Brand Experience

For a delivery order, packaging is not packaging. It is the dining room, the lighting, the service and the plating, compressed into thirty seconds of unboxing on somebody's kitchen counter. Most brands spend nothing on it and then wonder why they compete only on discount.

Start with stickers

The highest-return first step is a branded sticker on a plain kraft bag or box. It costs a fraction of a rupee at volume, needs no redesign of your existing packaging, and turns generic supplies into something that looks deliberate. Circular stickers in one or two brand colours, applied as a seal across the bag fold, do double duty as a tamper indicator.

Tamper-evident seals

Now effectively expected on delivery platforms, and a genuine trust signal. A printed tamper seal with your logo signals that somebody thought about the customer's food between the kitchen and the door. This is table stakes rather than a differentiator, but its absence is noticed.

Printed sleeves and carry bags

Paper sleeves for wraps, burgers and rolls, and printed carry bags for the whole order. This is where the brand actually gets to speak: colour, pattern, a line of copy. Order in your brand colour rather than full-colour printing and the cost drops sharply while the recognition stays.

Boxes that survive a scooter

Cake and dessert boxes, meal boxes and liners need to arrive intact more than they need to look beautiful, and a crushed beautiful box is worse than an intact plain one. Specify board weight for the actual journey, and use butter paper and liners printed with your mark so the inside of the box is branded too.

The customer sees your logo four times in an unboxing: the bag, the seal, the box and the card. That is four more brand impressions than a plain kraft bag gives you.

The thank-you card

The single most underused item in Indian food delivery. A small printed card with a line of thanks and a QR code to your review page or direct ordering link costs almost nothing and converts significantly better than any in-app prompt, because it arrives at the moment the customer is eating your food rather than three hours later. Several of our clients attribute a meaningful share of their review volume to this one card.

Insulated delivery bags

If you run your own riders, the bag is a moving billboard. Brand the side panels, not just the flap: the side is what pedestrians and cars see. Insulation quality matters for food temperature and therefore for reviews, so this is not the place to buy the cheapest option.

Order it with everything else

Packaging designed separately from uniforms and tableware ends up in a slightly different shade of your brand colour. We keep your logo files and colour references on record and produce packaging, print and signage alongside uniforms, so everything matches. WhatsApp +91 98213 34906.

Good to know

Questions restaurateurs ask us about this

What is the cheapest way to brand delivery packaging?

Stickers. A well-designed sticker on a plain kraft bag or box costs very little per order, requires no packaging redesign, and instantly makes generic packaging look intentional. Start there, then add sleeves and cards.

Do thank-you cards in delivery orders actually work?

Yes, particularly with a QR code linking directly to your review page or ordering site. It is the cheapest review-generation tool available to a delivery brand and it converts far better than an in-app prompt.

What packaging do cloud kitchens need most?

Tamper-evident seals first, for trust and platform compliance, then branded stickers, then printed sleeves and boxes. Insulated delivery bags matter if you run your own riders.
