Bill Holders, Caddies and Tent Cards: The Supporting Cast of a Good Table

Nobody opens a restaurant excited about bill holders. But the small objects on a table do a disproportionate amount of work: they speed up service, they answer questions, and they are handled by every single guest.

Bill holders

The bill holder is the last branded object a guest touches before they leave, which makes it worth more attention than it usually gets. Three formats:

• Wooden folders, engraved, with a slot for the bill and a card pocket. Premium, durable, and the most photographed.
• MDF holders, printed, with a sealed edge. The everyday workhorse; good graphics at a friendly price.
• Leatherette folders, stitched, with an elastic or pocket insert. Best for fine-dine, and they pair with matching menu folders.

Add a QR panel inside, engraved or printed, if you take digital payments. It lets guests pay while the server is elsewhere, which is a real turn-time saving on a busy Saturday.

Cutlery caddies and condiment holders

In casual dining, QSR and cafes, a caddy on the table holding cutlery, napkins and sauces removes several server trips per cover. In wood or MDF, branded on the outer face, they also give every table a branded object without adding clutter. For service stations, larger caddies keep the pass organised.

Tent cards and table stands

The cheapest way to sell something. A tent card carries the special, the new dessert, the happy hour, the social handle, or the QR to your ordering page, and it does it without a server having to remember. Available in MDF, wood, acrylic and printed card. Wooden and acrylic QR table stands have been one of our most-ordered items since digital menus took hold.

Order pads

Captain order pads and clipboards still earn their place even in POS-driven restaurants, for table-side notes, allergy flags and event orders. Branded and spiral-bound, they are cheap and they look considerably better in a guest's eyeline than a torn sheet of paper.

Trays, platters and wooden holder sets

Serving trays and platters in wood and MDF, and matched wooden holder sets for menus, bills and cutlery, tie the table together. When the tray, the bill folder and the menu board are the same timber and finish, the room reads as designed even if nothing else changed.
